MAC Promotions

Chris has a life long passion for martial arts, starting with Judo when he was living in Germany back in the 1970's. After many years of training in Karate, Taekwondo and Kickboxing, Chris began hosting martial arts competitions in 2004. This has evolved into the East of England Competitions, the Midland Martial Arts Competitions and more recently the London Open Competition. MacPromos is going to elevate these existing Competitions, and together with Peter they will change the face of competitions as we know it, not only in the UK, but across Europe and the rest of the World. 

Peter has been involved in martials arts for over 20 years after his passion was ignited after starting Karate.  After years of mixed karate style training, continuing to this day, he began organising large competitions for some major federations.  The most successful in his repertoire is the Welsh Open which attracts up to 500 athletes and over 1000 entries each year.  His vision to make the UK the hub of the world martial art competition community is shared by Chris, and MacPromos will ensure that this happens.   Peter & Chris through MacPromos' promoted competitions will be world class and truly designed for all styles.  The change is here.  The change is now.  

Harriet has been training in martial arts since she was six years old, in particular Taekwondo. She has also been involved with martial arts competitions, competeing from as young as ten years old, in TKD Poomsae and Kickboxing.  Harriet also has many years experience in running competitions alongside her father Chris Hemstock. Sharing the same vision as her Father and Peter, Harriet can be found in MacPromos offices, dealing with all things administrative, logistical, competition preparations and day to day running of the business.
